Beacon Lighting has a yearly annual conference where they gather together to reflect on the achievements of the past 12 months and give insights and inspiration on the year ahead. For the 2022 conference, You Matter was the theme, echoing to the store teams that without their daily efforts doing a great job the business would not be the success that it is.

I designed a logo and creative treatment to encompass the sentiment of the event while keeping within the Beacon style guide. Using a combination of handwritten and sans serif typefaces I emphasised the humanistic aspect while maintaining a professional look. I also used a selection of images of our store teams along with a rounded corner framing system to give the look a softer feel. 

I used this across a range of event materials including invitations, posters, postcards, presentation slide templates and a portable photo backdrop.

To encourage attendees to take the message of You Matter back to their store teams, I created attendee packs that included a set of posters and postcards. A beautiful manifesto was written by our talented copywriter which I used to create a typographic design that featured on these.
